Hillary Clinton and the Republican needs

As hard as it is for me to say it has become clear to me that the best choice amongst all the serious candidates for President was Hillary Clinton. Her experience after 8 years in the White House would have been much better suited to guide us through this time than Obama. You cannot doubt McCain's experience but he is unpredictable and Palin is a joke. It's almost as if though the Republican party knew they had no chance to win the general election and put Palin in there to attract a female contingency. I hope she stays out of politics. Frankly, I voted for the McCain ticket because I felt Obama was going to be exactly what he turned out to be.

It is very interesting how Clinton is the only Secretary of State in recent history that has not traveled everywhere with the President for the first 6 months of an administration. Is it possible that she is trying to distance herself from the mistakes that are being made? Could we possibly see an unprecedented event in 2012 where the Democratic party does not endorse the current President for another term?

I think it is unlikely but the Democrats need to realize that Hillary Clinton's time is running short.

As far as the Republicans go, they need to get in high gear developing a new personality. In my opinion the best choice would be Mitt Romney but then again it's hard for most people to put aside the faith issue. Apparently it's also hard for people to understand that if you model our country after a business and not a socialist movement it might actually succeed. The Clintons understood that too.
