As if the mounting problems at home weren't enough; our President is heading to Denmark to pitch Chicago as the home of the 2016 Olympics. It seems to me like President Obama wants to try it all and be good at nothing.
Hasn't the President already figured out that mingling in things that are none of his business is bad, bad for his business. Remember the "Beer Summit", getting involved in the NY gubernatorial race, collecting lists of people against health care reform, using tax payer money to make art that promotes the President... the list goes on.
By the way, where is this "recovery"? When did the recession end? You talk to business owners that have been around for a while they will tell you their business is struggling now more than it has ever.
Mr. President, fix the big issues first, stop trying to make us a Socialist society and then maybe worry about games. The American public will thank you.
