The U.S. is pulling out of an agreement to set up a missile defense shield in Poland and Czech Republic. The idea behind this shield was protection against radical regimes like Iran and Russia who has a long standing feud with some parts of Eastern Europe.
Russia as expected applauded this decision by the administration. Recently Russia approved a $2.2 Billion line of credit for Venezuela's Hugo Chavez to purchase Russian missiles. In effect giving a socialist, American hating leader sophisticated weapons which they would not be able to develop on their own.
Brilliant!
Give me back the last 8 years where we were hated abroad but protected within.
